Pads | East Tx Land Solutions LLC
One of the most critical steps in constructing a house or any other type of structure is to establish the building pad. Developed during the earthwork portion of the construction process, the building pad is an integral part of establishing a safe and stable foundation.
To build a 60ft by 40ft pad is an approximate time of two working days.

Whatever the soil type, the ground must be prepared to accommodate the proposed structure's size, design, and weight. This involves excavating, clearing, backfilling, compacting, and leveling the ground. What remains, as a result, is the building pad.
Building pads must provide the builder with
the proper spacing, grading, and compaction to build the homes.
Benefits
Pads must be designed and constructed to resist erosion caused by weather and heavy equipment travel.
On what will be the back of a house, places should have a shallow slope away from home and allow cleanup equipment and tractors to access the back of the house (if applicable).

A site pad aims to give your home's slab a defined, compact area that does not move at your level and rises above the surrounding area to prevent water from pooling or entering your home.
Remember!
The building pad should extend at least 5 feet from the entire perimeter of the proposed property to facilitate drainage and prevent erosion. If any part of the operation is performed incorrectly, the soil beneath the structure can settle and sink, leaving what is above it with substantial damage.
